If your Manitoba business fails to qualify for the various federal government assistance programs and wage subsidies available due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Manitoba Gap Protection Program (MGPP) may be available to you.  Under this program, the Province of Manitoba will advance to each eligible business a non-interest bearing forgivable loan of $6,000.  The loan will be forgiven on December 31, 2020, provided the business has not received any major non-repayable COVID-19 federal supports such as the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy.
